Certificate in Bathroom Studies (CBS)
Awarded to all those who can demonstrate their exceptional product knowledge of Bathroom Products. To do this, you must successfully undertake
six Bathroom Academy
Merits. The CBS is an open learning programme of assessment, testing and certification. Membership of the Bathroom Academy is awarded to all those who achieve the Certificate in Bathroom Studies.
What is a Bathroom Academy Merit?
A Bathroom Academy Merit is given in recognition of exceptional product knowledge of specific bathroom products.
Each Merit certificate is awarded upon successful completion of a 3 stage online training module meticulously linked to the Generic Industry Guide material.
The candidate must…..
1. Complete and submit a Workbook (with the aid of the Guide) containing a series of questions, clearly, concisely and accurately.
2. Take an ‘online’ multiple choice test.
3. Provide an example of how they have applied their new found knowledge to successfully meet the needs of the customer.
Diploma in Bathroom Studies
Holders of the Certificate in Bathroom Studies wishing to attain the Diploma in Bathroom Studies must undertake further study and achieve
four Bathroom Academy Merits: e.g. Domestic Water Systems, Water Efficiency, Bathroom Furniture,
Inclusive Design.
Competition Law – The Basics
This module, put together by an expert team of corporate lawyers and web based training specialists, deals with the basics of the Competition Act in particular Articles 81 and 82 – the do’s and don’ts of the Act!
This module is A MUST for anyone who has contact with competitors or deals with contracts, outsourcing or exhibitions. It is web based and ensures the learner has a full understanding of what the Act requires. It concludes with an interactive quiz to confirm the learners knowledge, the completed quiz can be printed out as evidence of participation in the module and the level of understanding attained.

Learning Materials: 2 Advanced Generic Industry Guides.
The Principles of Bathroom Design & CAD for Bathrooms underpin the work undertaken on the Workshop.
Pre-workshop: Delegates complete an online workbook and must pass an online multi-choice test 50 questions in 50 minutes, pass mark 45. Note: Delegates who do not hold the Certificate in Bathroom Studies must sit an additional multi-choice test to demonstrate their knowledge of bathroom product.
All Sessions: Are delivered by Industry specialists in Bathroom Design and CAD for Bathrooms.
Certification: On successful completion of the pre-course work and attendance at the workshop, you will be awarded 2 Advanced Bathroom Academy Merits and 20 Bathroom Academy CPD points.
