Timed to coincide with the opening day of the recent Bathrooms Conference the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) launched its new, refreshed and upgraded website at www.bathroom-association.org
“The BMA is the Voice of the Industry” said Yvonne Orgill, its chief executive “and to reflect its importance as the information highway between our industry, the government and the consumer we felt that it was time to refresh the site and make it both more informative and exciting.”
The new site is easier to navigate with direct links to other BMA microsites including the Bathroom Academy and Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme.
A new BMA Members-only section is being created and new Consumer Advice pages have been launched. Job vacancies and job seekers are shown in Job Shop.
The Consumer Advice pages will grow as more information is loaded to them but an interesting introduction is the Checklist section which suggests to would-be bathroom buyers what to look for and what to ask about when they visit a bathroom showroom. The Jargon Buster helps consumers understand industry terminology.
“This is an exciting time for the BMA” commented Orgill. “Our association is growing in importance particularly now that green issues and water efficiency are in the headlines. The BMA is the first stop for anyone seeking information on the British bathroom.”
