Bathroom Furniture - eLearning from the BMA

The design of bathroom furniture has come a long way in recent years and staff at the BMA are always delighted to see the latest trends when one of the BMA members launches a new range.
“The latest products are really stunning” says Yvonne Orgill, chief executive, “and it is more important than ever, in these rather extraordinary times, that retailers keep fully up –to-date with what’s coming market. But it is equally important that retailers keep their feet firmly on the ground. Staff training remains critical to maintaining that competitive edge. Fully trained retail staff who know the basics of bathroom furniture will be better placed to close that important sale.”
The BMA’s Bathroom Academy offers a unique method of online learning to anyone in the industry and bathroom furniture is one of its eLearning modules. Full online-learning courses are available for candidates wishing to achieve a ‘Certificate in Bathroom Studies’ but for one-off subject study the Bathroom Furniture Industry Guide, which is free to download, is invaluable.
The guide offers essential information about the types of furniture available and how it “marries” to sanitaryware. It discusses the available materials and suitability to differing situations, and touches on the applicable British Standards and testing. Sections on installation, terminology and FAQs complete the sixteen page booklet.
