BMA introduces new feature for Bathroom Conference
This year’s Annual Bathroom Conference on 20th October 2009 at Carden Park in Cheshire, is set to be the best yet. With a stunning line up of speakers all aspects of today’s bathroom industry will be covered, from bathroom design, sustainability and lighting, to branding, business strategy and the economy. In these difficult times this will be the S M I L E Conference of 2009 - designed to Stimulate and Motivate delegates, looking at the very latest in Innovation, Legislation and Education in the industry.

New Feature – The BMA Bathroom Awards
Steve Lee, of the Bristan Group and President of the BMA will chair the event. “We have an additional feature at this year’s Conference” commented Lee. “Members of the BMA have thought for some time that the hard working editors and staff of the trade magazines and exhibition organisers don’t seem to get the accolades which they deserve. The bathroom industry would be weaker without them. So this year we are introducing the new BMA Bathroom Awards.”
Winners selected from the shortlist of nominations received from the members of the BMA will be announced at the Conference Gala Dinner and will recognise the very best in bathroom journalism and exhibitions.

Shortlisted nominations are:

2009 BEST TRADE JOURNALIST
Lisa Arcangeli | Andrew Davies | Philippa Turrell
2009 BEST CONSUMER JOURNALIST
Jackie Daly | Linda Clayton | Emily Peck
2009 BEST BATHROOM MAGAZINE
KBBR | The Designer | EKBB
2009 BEST BATHROOM EXHIBITION
KBB Birmingham | EcoBuild | Sleep

Yvonne Orgill, chief executive of the BMA is extremely pleased with the arrangements for this year’s conference. “BMA staff have worked hard to create a sparkling conference for 2009. Great speakers, an industry exhibition, the gala dinner and of course the new awards will go to make this a memorable business event.
